COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

GTC is proud to sponsor a team in the First LEGO League (FLL), where students solve real-world engineering challenges, guided by adult mentors and their own imaginations.  This year the team will take part in the FLL Challenge 2006, known as Nano Quest.  For more information about the First LEGO League, visit the website at www.firstlegoleague.org.

In addition to sponsoring the team, GTC is also acting as one of the adult mentors for the team.  The team name, chosen by the members, is Na Know Hows, in conjunction with the 2006 challenge which involves nanotechnology.  Below are images of the front and back of the team's t-shirt:

On December 2, 2006, the Na Know Hows team qualified for the Florida state competition to be held on January 20, 2007 at the Florida Institute of Technology campus in Melbourne, Florida.
